Native Slaughter Day
Me: How is Thanksgiving celebrated where u stay. I'm sure its a mixture of feelings on this holiday down there(Albuquerque, New Mexico).
Mom: Yup, they celebrate Native Slaughter Day...seriously. the mix of spanish from spain whites and indians makes it a sedate holiday in many ways here
- simply a Reminder that while some give thanks on this day, it is a day of mourning, almost a spit in the face to others.

We all say that “Our” Parents are the best parents ever. The Card that my mom just sent me just made me appreciate her to a whole different level. Simply shows how attentive she is . Also proves how a good a friend a parent can really be.
Woke up very thankful. Thank God simply for waking me up, not because someone else didn’t see the morning but because God saw purpose in my life to have me continue to breathe. Now I pray that I can simply fulfill the purpose God has for me this day, this weekend, for this life.
Just thought about last NYE and realized how fantastically dope it was. don’t have a clue what’s in store for this year, and honestly I’m not even trying to match last year, as if that’s possible.

Around the end of October , I woke up and said I’m not gonna eat Meat. Like seriously woke up, thought about it and made the decision. By November 1st, I had a meatless fridge and headful of questions about how I’m gonna make it til thanksgiving without meat.
