Since 1980 Chicago has been hosting an event that lines up Chicago eateries and gives visitors to try a sample from the menu. You might have heard of it: its called the Taste of Chicago.

Most people dont realize just how big Chicago is. They dont realize just how diverse the city is. Take a trip on any of the CTA’s train lines and you’ll quickly find out what this precious city holds. Step outside of your ‘hood. How often do we travel to other cities and countries, yet we dont understand the treasures our own back yard holds. There are so many cultures represented in Chicago, not just white or black or hispanic. Chicago is diverse in every sense of the word.
Explore the local cuisine. Take a tour of the many museums. Simply walk a block in a different area and you see that though we are different, at heart we are all very similar.
Admittedly,i LOVE MY CITY. Its a love hate relationship, but in the end there is nothing else like Chicago.
In the time of the value and “$1” menu, when it comes to grabbing a drink, we are often left at the bar payin $8 to $12 for (watered) down drinks and beers. Well thats if you havent stumbled upon some of the wonderful sites listed below! Thank the internet for current events, Facebook and porn….

Scenes from New Era Chicago. Chicago is the 5th North American Flag Ship Store( LA coming in December). Chicago is also one of the larger stores and holds hundreds of hats, including Chicago exclusive and men and womens apparel. The store is located on State & Adams, and I just so happen to work there. Come check the store out.
ever have a full conversation with someone , then later on you realize that they werent the person you thought they were? Yea, i did this in the club a few weeks back. Remembered this girl from “somewhere” and she obviously knew me. A few drinks, bad memory and now everyone looks a like. Tho i now know this girl isn’t who i thought she was my question now is who the hell was she.
Sidenote if you havent been to my party at Griffin Lounge on Friday nights and you’re in Chicago, you my friend are missing out. Never a dull moment, obviously. lol.
